Why Heal?
The amount of obstacles presented before us today, which are both unintentionally and intentionally designed, to prevent our access to every avenue of much needed personal healing, are vast. Individuals who are either on a healing path, or curious enough to seek knowledge of the actual process of healing, are being met with barriers and blocks designed to deter and even derail any attempts, at healthy and authentic methods of healing.
Regardless of these underhanded diversion tactics, there are many people who have successfully managed to navigate and bypass the onslaught of illusions, false narratives, distractions and blocks, which the mental manipulation of the media machine continues to place in our way.
The human desire for survival is immense. Therefore regardless of whatever, or whomever may attempt to block our mental, emotional and physical health, the immense strength of our wilful spirit will naturally continue to desire healing.
Healing is an internal human art. Healing is the art of redesigning and reconstructing our life. A life lived while engaged in healing, is a life dedicated to consistent awareness of self. This means total devotion to living a life from an internal perspective through self analysis, self correction, and self worth. Living a healing life is to become intentionally aware, of how our thoughts, words and actions, contribute to every life experience we have, and how this either adds to our healing or depletes us. Consciously living a healing life is surrendering to our natural energy of vulnerability, self acceptance, and ultimately, self love.
When we decide to heal, it is because we have realised that we are not living our life in the correct manner. We are disconnected from the needs of our spirit, which means we must make corrective changes. Our choice to heal also brings complete understanding, that we must find ways and methods to become grounded in our authentic self. This means we must connect to our spirit of forgiveness. It is by way of our ability to forgive both ourselves and others, for any past or present pain which we may have endured, that we can move forwards towards true healing.
Healing is not a lifestyle, healing is not a trend, healing is an authentic emotion attached to our heart and soul. Healing is ‘feeling’ and the only way we can successfully heal, is to feel. Everyone is naturally designed to feel. We can go through life ignoring and attempting to block out our feelings, or we can ‘feel’ our way though life with a light heart, in a more permanent, progressive and mentally creative manner, with vulnerability, honesty, and integrity.
When we make the conscious decision to heal from whatever may have created pain or trauma in our life, the benefits are endless. Above all the positives we can gain from self healing is ‘knowledge of self’. We can be upfront with ourselves, while doing the hard work required for our mental, emotional, and physical rescue, growth and maintenance, or we can simply continue to suppress what our soul is crying our for us to express.
Healing cannot be forced upon anyone. Just like everything else in life, the choice is ours. We can decide that internal love is something worth holding on to, nurturing, and building upon, or we can give in and remain stuck in our ‘Ego’ with ‘External Gratification Only’.
